Does Life Really Go Downhill as You Get Older?
I remember as a kid, I loved having snow days during the winter. I’d bundle up in my snow gear, meet at the big hill at the nearby park, and spend hours sledding with my friends. It’s been years since I tried my hand at sledding, but after watching this next video, this year I might just get out the old toboggan.
Recently Sodexo launched the HealthAbility campaign, aimed at helping residents of senior living communities live longer, more active, healthier and more fun lives. This video certainly features Bethany Village residents having fun, and will give you an idea of what the HealthAbility program is all about. My favorite is Nancy, who at 93 can snow tube no-handed. Pretty impressive!
Thanks, Bethany Village, for reminding me that snow tubing isn’t just for kids. Anyone else counting down the days ‘til winter?

I love the enthusiasm of all the “downhill” snowtubers!Thx for the heads up about the HealthAbility campaign. Will be exploring it more.
Sue, I agree the excitement and enthusiasm couldn’t be more authentic. HealthAbility looks like a very enriching and rewarding program focused 100% on wellness. After doing some exploring, please share any new ideas you might discover.
…….and it has a staff component. The whole community can commit to being healthy which seems so needed in our healthcare environments. Will share more as I learn more..
