Love for Fitness Is Contagious
Each year, getting in shape and staying fit makes its way to the top of New Year’s resolution lists for people of all ages. In fact, it made my list this year. But I must confess ─ some days I find myself needing a little more motivation than others. And today I found just that.
At 72 years young, Ernestine Shepherd is an inspiration to many. She runs 80 miles a week, lifts weights nearly every day and instructs an exercise class that encourages other seniors to get fit.
Whether you have resolved to begin a new workout or have been exercising for many years, I hope this video featuring Ernestine’s enthusiasm for fitness inspires you, as it did me, in 2011.
