Better Than Nothing (Is Harder Than You Think)
Who is your competition? That is a pretty important question for a marketer. When talking about differentiation or establishing a brand position, it is usually in respect to the competition. When we evaluate pricing, it is usually in respect to the competition. So who is your competition? The community down the street? The one across town? Very interesting — and probably especially true in our industry, where for many people the prospect of doing nothing (NOT moving, NOT looking, NOT admitting they need help) is far more attractive than doing anything!

My biggest competition is staying at home. They want to wait till “the market goes back up”. I can imagine it’s hard to let go of the place you know and love and have been in for 30 years.
